FA YOUTH CUP ACTION FOR EDDIE BEACH
Coach Niall, Jamie & former coaches Hugh & Jesse were spectators at St Marys last night as former NFFA Academy legend Eddie Beach played for Southampton FC U18 against Sheffield Wednesday FC! It was fantastic to watch how Eddie has progressed into the fantastic young man he is today. Eddie played a full 90 minutes, impressing with his technical ability to play out from the back with his feet, reminding us of his former day's with New Forest predominantly as a Central Midfielder. His constant high line and leadership with his communication to his team mates were very notable, giving us a very impressive display at a very high standard of football!
Eddie also played alongside Josh Squires, who regularly attended our sessions in Highcliffe when he was growing up!
It was an extremely proud moment watching a former Academy player of ours, performing at the highest level in the FA Youth Cup! Well played in those tough conditions last night Eddie, great performance all round and we can't wait to watch you again!
