EDDIE BEACH SIGNS PRO CONTRACT WITH CHELSEA FC
Enormous congratulations to former New Forest Football Academy player Eddie Beach, who today has put pen to paper to complete his transfer to Chelsea Football Club!!
Eddie has made Chelsea FC history as he becomes the first official signing for Chelsea FC under their new ownership of Todd Boehly. Chelsea were one of seven clubs battling it out to win the highly talented Goalkeeper’s signature, signing him for an undisclosed fee! Jim Fraser, Chelsea’s assistant head of youth development and head of youth recruitment, said earlier today: “We are very pleased to bring Eddie to the club. He is a talented goalkeeper with good potential and will join our development squad for the coming season.”
This is undoubtedly outstanding news for Eddie, his family and everyone in our local area, as Eddie continues to make everyone involved with his footballing career so incredibly proud! As many of you will agree, Eddie is one of most genuine and down-to-earth people that you will ever come across. Eddie has been incredibly humble throughout his journey, as he now acts as a true inspiration for any young athlete in our local area. He has proved that anything is achievable through hard work, determination and most importantly a passion for what you do. We will never forget the first day Eddie attended our Football Courses nearly 10 years ago, little did we know back then that he would go onto achieve such greatness!
Eddie spent many years in our Academy, predominately as a player and then briefly as a Young Coach at our Holiday Football Courses. Since then, he has grown into a exceptionally fine young man. We are SO proud of your achievements Eddie, and we would like to say a massive thank you to you, for allowing us to be a part of your journey!
From winning dizzy penalties at Woodside Park from 2013 to being signed as a Professional Footballer by Chelsea Football Club in 2022, what an incredible journey it has been (so far)!! We would also like to pass on our congratulations to Eddie’s family James, Tamsyn and Alfie - you must be so proud of everything this young man has achieved!
