⚽️ Leon Crouch Memorial Cup at St Mary's Football Stadium! 🏆
Yesterday we were very lucky to be invited to participate in a charity football tournament at Southampton FC's stadium, to raise money for Oakhaven Hospice! The event was in memory of Leon Crouch, former Chairman of Southampton FC and born and bred in our local area in Lymington.
Some of our Under-8 Academy players were selected to play on the pitch against some of our local grassroots football teams, which saw some very impressive bravery and confidence in 1v1s!
The boys were very lucky to have Lawrie McMenemy as our guest coach (former England Assistant Manager and Southampton FC FA Cup winning Manager), as well as receiving some very complimentary words from Francis Benali (Ex Premier League Pro), Leon Best (Ex Premier League Pro) and Tony Pulis (Ex Premier League Manager)!
We would like to say a huge thank you to Chris and Lara for putting on such a fantastic event, giving the boys memories to last a lifetime!
